If you have a tween or teen that loves to bake then this is the cook-a-long for them!

Join me in the kitchen on Friday 27th September at 9.30am (AEST) for a hands-on, fun-filled baking experience. We'll be making Two-Faced Cookies, cookies that are both vanilla AND chocolate which means they're double the fun and flavour!

What Will I Learn?

  • Baking Essentials: Kids, tweens, and teens will gain practical skills such as measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and understanding baking times.

  • Flavour Combination: We'll explore how contrasting flavors—vanilla and chocolate—can complement each other.

  • Creativity in the Kitchen: By crafting each cookie with two flavours we can experiment with patterns, shapes, and designs.

  • Kitchen Confidence: With our step-by-step guidance, your kids, tweens & teens will learn how to follow a recipe, develop confidence in the kitchen, and practice essential kitchen safety.

What Can I Expect?

🤩 A fun, interactive live cook-a-long designed for kids, tweens, and teens.

🎓 Expert guidance from Emma, a primary school teacher with a passion for food & cooking.

✔️Step-by-step instructions and live demonstration of how to bake Two-Faced Cookies.

🎉 A cook-a-long that celebrates food and encourages curiosity.

💥Interactive and supportive community. Ask Emma questions as you cook along together!

Why You Can't Miss This Cook-A-Long: This interactive, live experience is more than just baking—it’s a chance for young bakers to connect, create, and learn in a fun, supportive environment. Emma will guide participants through every step, ensuring no one is left behind.

Why Is Learning to Bake Important? Learning to bake is more than just making delicious treats—it's an essential life skill that fosters independence, creativity, and patience. Through baking, kids, tweens, and teens develop a deeper understanding of math, science, and time management as they measure ingredients, follow instructions, and observe how simple ingredients transform. It also promotes problem-solving and attention to detail, all while boosting confidence and encouraging self-expression in the kitchen. Baking not only nurtures a love for cooking but also teaches valuable lessons that extend far beyond the kitchen.

This cook-a-long is recommended for kids 8 years+ (or younger with adult supervision as we’ll be cooking over heat)

Parents, feel free to join in on the fun!
