INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract/paste

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp natural/Greek yoghurt

  • 1/4 cup milk of choice

  • small handful mixed frozen berries

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a small jar or bowl, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds.

  2. Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, Greek yoghurt and milk and stir to combine.

  3. Taste to check for sweetness - if you'd like it sweeter, add 1 tsp more maple syrup and taste again. If not - leave as it.

  4. Sprinkle the frozen berries over the top.

  5. Cover the jar or bowl with a tight-fitting lid and place in the fridge overnight ready to eat the next morning!

The next morning:

  1. Remove the overnight oats from the fridge and enjoy on-the-go!

Optional: sprinkle some toasted muesli or nuts on top!

Maple Berry Overnight Oats

The perfect on-the-go breakfast! These overnight oats are all of β€˜the’ things: quick, easy, simple and delicious! Whip these up the night before so that you can grab them to eat as you run out the door!
