Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

2 medium sized frozen bananas

large handful ice

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tbsp - 1 tbsp honey

200ml milk

DIRECTIONS

1. Place all ingredients (start with 1/2 tbsp honey) in a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy (this should take about 60 seconds).

2. Taste with a spoon and add more honey if you need.

3. Pour into a large glass and enjoy!

Banana Smoothie

As the days heat up, nothing beats a creamy, soft, icy-cold smoothie. A good old fashioned banana smoothie would have to be at the top of my list of favourite flavoured smoothies. Why?! Because they’re so darn good every. single. time. Banana, cinnamon & honey are a match made in heaven so it’s no wonder that this particular recipe is so popular. Enjoy!
